Kinn is a municipality in the Vestland County. It was established on  January 1st 2020 when the municipalities of Vågsøya and Flora merged together. Kinn consists of two geographically separated parts, with the municipality of Bremanger located in the middle. The cities of Måløy and Florø are both municipal administration centres.

The coastal municipality has an innovative and export-oriented business community, mainly within fisheries, aquaculture, shipbuilding and the petroleum industry. In recent years, there has also been an increase of IT companies. The coat of arms is an abstract symbol of the bow of a boat, and illustrates long and proud traditions in the marine and maritime industries. It may also represent a wave, a cliff or a spearhead, depending on the eye of the beholder.

Kinn can also offer a rich and diverse cultural life, in addition to fantastic outdoor experiences thanks to its mountain peaks, small islands, fjords and white sandy beaches.
